Part of the MGI Auckland Assurance team since 2013, Darshini specialises in assurance issues. As a qualified chartered accountant, Darshini brings more than 14 years of experience working in both the UK and New Zealand.
As Assurance Manager, Darshini also has a special interest in Alliance projects. She is responsible for managing the audit process on all MGI Auckland’s assurance jobs. This includes major projects such as The Waterview Tunnel, Northern Corridor Improvements Alliance, Safe Roads Alliance, Auckland Motorway Alliance SH1 Waikato Expressway: Hamilton Section Alliance, Mackays to Peka Peka Alliance, and the Christchurch Northern Corridor Alliance.
Darshini’s experience in chartered accountancy including business advisory, taxation and assurance advice spans across a number of businesses and sectors. She’s worked with clients from engineering and infrastructure to financial services, manufacturing, retail industries, and both service-oriented and professional organisations.
Since finding her niche in assurance, Darshini has continued to thrive on helping clients by improving controls and procedures and providing recommendations to minimise both financial and non-financial errors.
