As MGI Auckland’s Asian Relationship Manager, Hideto is passionate about helping clients improve their business performance and establishing collaborative partnerships with local and international clients. His advice provides clients with confidence in tax compliance, which helps them grow their businesses and meet their goals.

As a bilingual speaker, Hideto is able to support clients in both English and Japanese.

Originally from Okinawa in Japan, Hideto moved to New Zealand in 2001 to study at the University of Auckland. Since then, he’s gained more than 10 years of professional experience. He worked with a second-tier chartered accountancy firm before joining MGI Auckland in 2013.

He is a committee member of the Japanese Society of Auckland and has filled the role of treasurer since 2008. He is also a founding member and the leader of the Japanese Business Club New Zealand, which promotes relationships between local Japanese business owners.
